This is Ten

One I think is cute,
She's shy, but sweet and talented,
Her art is lighthearted and nice,
And I hope her life will be like that one day.

Two has strangely grown on me,
Her snapshots of life are the best,
And even though she has a weird sense of humor,
She's now someone I call a friend.

Three is someone I once knew very well,
But now our lives have drifted apart,
Time has not been kind to our friendship,
But maybe in time we can rebuild what was lost.

Four, though the times we had were happy,
Yet I almost regret what we had together,
I think you don't know how to handle me now,
The silence says you'd be happy if I left,
And it's not like I blame you for it,
It's just that I still just want you to smile.

Five is someone I admire just a little bit,
You were the leader of our misfit band,
All of our good and bad, you took it all,
And though we've all but parted ways,
My memories of you will always be bright.

Six has somehow become my family,
Small, cute, and shy, but so entertaining,
And with a strong little heart that brightens mine,
She's a special child who'll see magic in this life.

Seven is an unfolding mystery to me,
Almost genius in their talent,
Yet so many conflictions underneath,
That I wish I could come to know better.

Eight has become my darling little sister,
I named her red, which fits her passion inside,
And the blood that she readily spills for others,
Giving so much in different ways,
Sometimes I wish she'd be more selfish and stop,
But even so, that's who she is, I love it,
And she's one of the brighter stars in my night sky.

Nine I haven't talked to in forever,
And I must say I miss her,
I think she feels guilty when we converse,
But she still holds a place in my heart as a friend.

Ten... my magical angelic beauty,
My queen, my beauty, my radiant midnight star,
I miss you far more than I could say with words,
So I won't say anything stupid or inane,
But I still believe in you,
And everything we've ever had will always stay true.
